Vuly Play: new trampolines, new branding

A never-ending quest for perfection has driven Australian entrepreneur Joe Andon to invest $2 million in designing the most advanced and safest trampoline in the world.


Andon, founder of Vuly Trampolines, recently unveiled the new Thunder Pro trampoline and three other new models that set fresh global benchmarks in design, safety, beauty and performance.


In addition to the new Vuly trampoline range, Andon, 27, and his young team have re-branded the company, launched new packaging and built a splendid new website that exhibit stunning images of people at play in aesthetic environments.


The visual website also provides specifications and diagrams on products and parts mixed with video and explanations. The images were shot by professional photographers over many months and can be viewed at    

Vuly spent $2 million transitioning to Vuly Play.


Says young chief executive and entrepreneur Joe Andon: “We have changed from Vuly Trampolines to Vuly Play as part of our overall strategic plan in transitioning from a trampoline company to a play company.


“We have changed everything, from our website, branding, packages, box sizes, computer systems and, more importantly, a brand new range of trampolines.” 


Says Andon: “As Brisbane-based Vuly has diversified into new products and channels, we needed a new website to suit. Vuly Play now symbolises somewhat of a status symbol in the back yard. It's really exciting to be the first true designer play company in the world.”


Andon established his business at 19, after identifying a niche in the trampoline industry and was determined to make safer, high performance trampolines that were easy to assemble.


Keeping the successful Thunder name and many fun accessories, Vuly Play now has four product models across price points and features, with Thunder Pro leading the charge.


Following up is the Thunder model, the new Lift Pro and the family friendly Lift.


All models have the distinctive refined leaf springs, extra strength frames and click-together assembly, gentle and tear resistant nettings and thick PVC pad protective, great warranties, very good weight guarantees and a collection of clever and fun new accessories.

Andon said Vuly was built on innovation, and innovation would propel it in future.


“We’re always soul searching on how we can bring a safer and top-performing trampoline to global markets,” Andon says.


“We always have new models on the drawing board. And I’m constantly searching for new markets around the world. Trampolines are my passion.


“Everyone at Vuly is encouraged to contribute ideas – we constantly challenge ourselves to push limits.”   


Vuly Play has its trampolines distributed in many international markets, has won many awards and even scored a visit to head office and its R&D facility from an impressed Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, who praised Andon and his team for their innovative spirit and for being an example of outstanding Australia entrepreneurship.
