Steeden kicks off as world cup ball
Official match ball for this year’s Rugby League World Cup has been launched by Steeden, for use by the men’s and women’s tournaments
Steeden is signed as the ball and training equipment partner of the RLWC2017., to be fought out from late October to early December and hosted by Australia and New Zealand with three pool games also being played in Papua New Guinea.
The design on the “Symmetry” Steeden match ball incorporates elements of the tournament logo.
Other major leagues signed to the Gray-Nicolls’ brand include the National Rugby League, New Zealand Rugby League, Country Rugby League, New South Wales Rugby League and Queensland Rugby League.
Steeden Commercial Manager, Jon Clarke ( pictured with RLWC2017 Chief Executive, Andrew Hill) says, "We are delighted to be partnering yet again with the Rugby League World Cup for the 2017 tournament.
Replica and country supporter balls are on offer for a tournament which is
expected be the biggest event in our region this year, with an estimated 450,000 fans forecast to attend.
