Garozzo seeks 'new ride for leadership skills’
After seven years as ASICS Australia general manager sales, David Garozzo is seeking new challenges.
He reports that it was time to move on from the global performance footwear and apparel brand “ after a very successful seven years with the company” and that heis “now ready to do it all over again with a company that is in need of a strong leader, who will bring along values such as trust, passion, honesty and teamwork.
“I am looking forward to my next challenge being as successful as the ASICS journey.”
He says, “It has been a such a joy and a great challenge, contributing to the great heights ASICS has reached today. So many achievements along the way. – a few key projects I played significant roles in include successfully hitting the five year goal set by ASICS Japan, a huge coup for ASICS Australia, particularly as Europe and US subsidiaries fell short of their targets.
“We established state offices in Queensland, SA and WA, launched a very successful back to school programme and enjoyed the satisfaction of building a strong sales and customer service team right across the country – reflected in the winning of manystate sales awards by our state reps and national retail awards from the major groups.
“Quality staff are a key ingredient to a successful business, says Garozzo who is keen to launch into his next challenge.
