Home runs for bank with Little Leaguers

Bendigo Bank has signed as partner of Little League Australia, with its 4500 players, for the next two years.

Australian Little League, which was first launched in 2007, has 477-chartered teams and more than 4,500 participants between the ages of 11 and 17 across the country, making it one of the fastest growing grassroots sports in Australia. Australia is the fourth largest Little League country in the world in participation.

Little League International, which was founded in 1939, can be found in more than 80 countries around the world with more than 2.4 million participating each year.

Little League Australia has recently concluded its championships at three levels, with the winners of each tournament set to represent Australia, in the Asia Pacific Championship for the senior league, and the World Series for the junior and little leagues.

Bendigo Bank partnered of the Australian Baseball League in 2015 and is now extending its relationship with grassroots baseball.
