Netball pushes the cute factor

Netball pushes the cute factor

Netball Australia shines a light on “netball’s little heroes” in its latest television commercial.

Children aged five to ten are urged to ‘dream big’ in Netball Australia’s first major campaign for Suncorp NetSetGO, through the Small Heroes, Big Dreams. television commercial.

The commercial has been launched across the Nine Network, with further integration into broadcast of Suncorp Super Netball across Nine and online Telstra TV.

The commercial focusses on some of the key benefits of the junior programme including a child’s growth in confidence and the ability to work as a team, while delivered in a positive, supporting, nurturing and fun environment.

Creative agency MMR was commissioned to produce the project by Netball Australia, focussing on providing children from five to ten years as a positive introduction to netball, incorporating skills, games, music, dance, and modified matches.

Netball is the number one team sport for girls and women in Australia, according to the Australian Sports Commission’s recently-released AusPlay survey data.

Data collected from October 2015–September 2016 showed that for girls participating in organised out-of-school hours sport and recreation, netball was the most popular team sport with 324,177 participants.
