Reds join the Zoo for new kit

Reds join the Zoo for new kit Queensland Rugby Union named Zoo Sport as its new apparel partner under a four-year agreement.

The Reds will wear the new kit in Super Rugby this week against the Rebels in Melbourne and train in Zoo apparel now.
All QRU players, coaches and staff will wear Zoo as they deliver programmes throughout the state.
Queensland Rugby Union Chief Executive Richard Barker says, “Zoo Sport is the right fit for our elite teams as well as providing the necessary level of support to the QRU’s state-wide rugby programmes.”

This partnership is Gold Coast-based Zoo Sports first foray into Super Rugby with the Reds to be the company’s sole Australian representative in the Super Rugby competition for the term of the agreement. Earlier this year, Zoo Sport was named apparel partner to the inaugural Brisbane Global Rugby Tens.

The company also offers men’s and women’s sportswear and a school range.
Zoo Sport Commercial Director Adam Goldberg says: “We look forward to working with key stakeholders across multiple business divisions at Queensland Rugby, including the merchandise team, coaching staff and playing roster.

“The Zoo Sport design and production teams are developing apparel and branded merchandise which is exclusive to the Queensland Rugby teams, and the most technologically advanced.”
