Sting adds to Games rollcall

Sting adds to Games rollcall

Australian boxing specialist Sting has signed as the official supplier of boxing equipment to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

This partnership follows those of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and the Rio Olympics.

In April next year 2018, the best boxers will fight for gold using Sting competition boxing ring, gloves and other training equipment in the Oxenford Studios.

Sting Director, Amir Anis said his team were very proud to be involved in a Commonwealth Games on home soil.

“As the sole Australian owned company licenced by the International Boxing Association, it’s only natural for STING to supply our equipment to GC2018. Our brand continues to grow across the world.”

GC2018 hopeful and Sting athlete Skye Nicolson (pictured) says the games is her key focus.

“My training has been aligned with International competitions this year for the GC2018 qualifiers, and to know that Sting will be the equipment to use if I qualify gives me confidence.”

Sting is an official licensee to AIBA (International Boxing Association Amateur) and has supplied equipment to APB (AIBA Professional Boxing) and WSB (World Series Boxing).
