e-bikes are big stars at Eurobike
Eurobike attracted many consumers for the accompanying cycle festival as well as the trade when 42,720 industry visitors came to Germany’s Lake Constance last week.
More than 32,400 bike fans came to climb on a bike on the weekend, almost double last year’s number.
Most of the market’s leading companies – 1350 exhibitors from around the world – were on hand for the show’s 25th anniversary show – as well as the high-quality offerings from all segments of the bike industry generated strong visitor interest.
Say organisers, “2016 is the year of the e-bike. More and more people are getting interested in this intelligent, economic and ecologically sensible form of mobility.
“E-biking has now become more than just a trend - it has arrived in the mainstream of our society. The Eurobike is an important component of this success story and offers the industry an ideal platform to draw attention to new developments and improvements.”
The Eurobike Festival Days offered infotainment around on the new bike trends with more than 3000 bikes were available for test rides in the demo area.
There were shows and performances with cycle stars, live concerts plus presentations and workshops as well as races and parties.
• Eurobike will be held from August 30 to September 2, 2017 at Friedrichshafen Messe.
