Eureka! Getting to the top first
The annual race up the 1,642 stairs at Melbourne’s tallest building, means runners reach the highest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Eureka Climb, presented by OsteoEze, rewards participants with a fantastic view of the city from the finish line at Skydeck88 on the 88th level and raises funds for two charities, Whitelion and Interplast Australia and New Zealand.
With two stairwells, one for those racing the clock and one for walkers, Eureka Climb on November 13 attracts thousands of stair climbing enthusiasts of all fitness levels.
Defending champion an incredible five times, is Mark Bourne who has tackled the Eiffel Tower, and the Empire State Building and finished second in the World Towerrunning Championships last year.
