Supacore: compression tech for activewear

And pic in folder

Melbourne-based Supacore has launched an innovative sports compression range which is aimed at reducing the cost of injury in sport.

With what is claimed to be the world’s first seamless women’s compression range with patented technology, Supacore launches into a $10b global market for activewear.

The patented technology can improve core stability and aid with the recovery of hamstring, lower back and groin related injuries.

This is achieved from a knitting process that reinforces high stress areas of the body particularly focusing on the core and other key muscle areas.

Says Global Brand Manager Keshia Hutchens, “The women’s active sports category is very crowded and dominated by major global players, which was why it was imperative that we cut through with our innovation.”

The range consists of technical garments focussing on training, recovery and injury recovery – all developed from the patented technology granted this year.

Supacore “brings innovations to the market, including:

•Patented technology: Assists with hamstring, lower back and groin/overuse injury recovery and improves core support and stability.

• Seamlessly knitted body-mapping compression: Focused support of major muscle groups, resulting in less muscle soreness and soft tissue damage.

• Ribtech®: Mimics kinesiology-taping techniques and provides a gentle massage while the body is in motion.

• Supa X®: engineered compression focussing on shoulder blade (mid trapezius) to enhance posture, improve breathing and endurance.

Supacore launched its men’s range in 2015 and supplying English Premier League clubs Arsenal, Chelsea Southampton and QPR, College football in California and several Football teams in Asia.
