FLY Active takes flight with new products
Running accessories brand FLY Active is busy releasing new products to a hungry marketplace, six new releases in the ten months since Sfida Group acquired the Aussie brand.
The expanding range includes a hydration belt, with several new features, arm pockets, wrist and waist pockets for easy and safe transport of essentials like phone and keys while exercising and audio armbands for music on the go.
Fitness equipment such as foam rollers and yoga mats are in the planning stage, with the aim, says Sfida Group sales manager Shawn Koralewski, of being a one-stop shop, with all fitness and running accessories from one brand.
The FLY Active team, led by Sfida Group general manager Andrew Adkins, participated in the specialist running event in Austin, Texas in December with the dual aims of gauging interest in launching FLY Active in the US and seeking distributors.
“We received a most enthusiastic response,” says Koralewski, “and wholesalers and retailers were delighted to be able to obtain the whole range from one brand.”
• Meanwhile, Sfida reports a great start to the 2016 footy season especially for the junior boots, ”one of our best-ever sell-ins and we attribute the response to our great range, prices and quality with customers continuing after 31 years, to be delighted that Sfida is an Australian brand.”
Koralewski reports that the Sfida Group team is anticipating a strong 2017 season, with sell-in in April and a great range of boots to be launched then.
Sfida also offers updated apparel collections plus a compression range, with collections for kids being very popular.
