Velocity Brand Management (VBM) has an exciting opportunity for a Licensing Executive based in the Sydney offices of a high profile sporting organisation.

Velocity Brand Management (VBM) was established in April 2004 and in this time, VBM has established itself as Australia’s pre-eminent sports licensing agency managing high profile Australian and International licensing and brand management programs across the sports areas as well as signature brands and events. These programs include the National Rugby League, Football Federation Australia, Cricket Australia, Tennis Australia, including the Australian Open and International Cricket Council licensing programs as well as managing retail stores for the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.
VBM approach to its business is not only as a licensing agent, but as managers and builders of our client’s brand. VBM looks to sustain and grow each program whilst exploring new and innovative ways to leverage programs in both traditional and non-traditional revenue streams.
Reporting to the Licensing Manager, you will provide account management and project support to the Licensing and wider Commercial team in managing one of the largest summer sports licensing program in the country.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of licensees, specifically focusing on apparel / soft line categories across all areas of the business including range development, product approvals, contractual management & development of retailer relationships and budget accountabilities per category.
As an excellent communicator, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, you will maintain relationships with key retailers with key accountability in managing marketing and promotional support throughout the season to key retailer partners of the program, including official retailers.
